The phrase Malnutrition in Europe may sound a bit unbelievable. That is because our mind is conditioned to use the term malnutrition with poverty and lack of food. Off late, however, case of malnutrition are not uncommon in the developed countries as well. Sedentary lifestyle and an unhealthy lifestyle can be blamed for all kinds of Malnutrition in Europe. Consumption of unhealthy junk food, undissolved fat and starving the body from the necessary ingredients is believed to be responsible for causing Malnutrition in Europe.

The German concentration Camps were the store house of all such people who could not even walk properly when released out of the concentration camps . However, with the arrival of the Twenty first century most of the governments in the countries of Europe, took proactive steps to develop the condition of the down trodden. The governments in most parts of the continent took extra care to regularly feed and help the needy and the downtrodden. This has helped in combating the deaths due to malnutrition to a large degree.

However, problems seemed to appear from excess of food as well. That is many residents of the continent today are victims of obesity. Although neglected by many, an obese body is much susceptible to diseases as a victim of Malnutrition in Europe. For the obese bodies lack in the necessary ingredients, and may be regarded as malnutritions medically. Moreover many a budding models have chosen to shed of the necessary fat from their body by starving for days. In an attempt to get an hour glass figure many girls have off late become victims of Malnutrition in Europe. However, these cases of Malnutrition in Europe are results of choice and not circumstances. Usually circumstantial cases of malnutrition occurs due to famine, war, civil war and adverse weather conditions. The continent of Europe has been lucky enough for not facing any of these adverse conditions.
