Kling saw the possibilities when he was pursuing his management studies at the Columbia Business School.
He thought that if Internet can be clubbed with prime time television shows, it could lead to miracles in terms of the popularity of both television and the world wide web. Kling got a breakthrough while he was appointed to write a pilot series plot at CBS for their new fall series. He approached CBS and Heywood Kling Productions later on. He did not have to wait for much longer after that. The first part of Television Internet was based on a testing performance as a content delivery network. It was made in a video streaming format that incorporated half-hour and hour-long shows shot for different episodes.
