Canada is the second largest country in the world which occupies the most of the northern North America. The country has, by far, more lakes than any other county of the world. The country has got a number of lakes, rivers and mountains. Canada also has large amount of fresh water of the world. In the southeast, there are the Great Lakes and Saint Lawrence River which flows past the most densely populated part of Canada, the Quebec City-Windsor Corridor. The broad Canadian Shield, an area of rock scoured, is located to the north of this region. Climate of Canada Different locations in Canada have different climates.
